Eligibility Criteria for Exams & Scholarships
- For Bihar Board 10th & 12th Exams:
- Must be enrolled in a BSEB-affiliated school.
- Completed registration process within stipulated time.
- Passed previous class examination.
- Class 10: Over 14 years of age.
- Class 12: At least 15 years of age.
- Private, improvement, and compartment candidates are also eligible.
- For Compartment Exams:
- Failed in one or two subjects or were absent in one or two subjects during the annual examination.
- For Scholarships:
- Must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- Chief Minister Girl Incentive Scheme (Class 10): Girl students from General and Backward Classes who secured first division.
- Chief Minister SC/ST Merit Scholarship Scheme (Class 10 & 12): SC/ST students who passed Class 10 with first or second division, and Class 12 with first or second division.
- Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana (+2): Girl students who passed Class 12 with a First Division and are unmarried.
- Some scholarship schemes may require no family member to be a government employee or income tax payer.
